ODG provided architectural design services for the renovation of and addition to an existing 8,000 gsf Georgian brick residence in Potomac, Maryland. The exterior renovation includes a historically detailed new front portico and entry. The interior renovation includes historic detailing in the front entry, formal living room, dining room, and family room. The addition includes a new 800 gsf glass breakfast room with historic detailing.
ODG developed the design and prepared cost estimates, contract documents, bidding and negotiation documents, and construction administration. The project has several phases. Phase I consisted of the exterior renovation of the front portico and entry hall. Phase II included historic detailing and new finishes for the interior. Phase III included the design for a new 800 gsf addition. This project was completed in 2006.
